Wayne Du Maine

Recent performances include the Boys Choir of Harlem, Take 6, Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society, the Pittsburgh Collective, American Ballet Theater, Bernadette Peters and Pink Baby Monster (rap debut!).
Mr. du Maine is on the faculty of Columbia University and the Music Advancement Program at the Juilliard School where he teaches trumpet and conducts the MAP Orchestra. Wayne is also on the conducting faculty of the Elisabeth Murrow String Camp and the Summer Arts Institute at Stuyvesant High School in lower Manhattan.

Recently completed three-year run with the Tony Award winning Broadway musical Urinetown. Collaborations with the American, New York, Wisconsin, Manhattan, Eastern and Saturday Brass Quintets. Concert Credits: Currently principal tuba of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. He has performed frequently with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra. He is a member of the Westminster Brass. Mr. Brown is currently an Adjunct Professor of tuba and euphonium at The College of New Jersey and Senior Lecturer of tuba at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Studied jazz piano with Charlie Banacos, Jaki Byard, Dean Earl and Ray Santisi and classical piano with Margaret Chaloff, Ann Shenderoff and Eleanor Hancock.
